These terms explain the basis on which CASCA may be accessed and used for early-stage whole-life carbon comparison.
Last updated: 13 May 2026
Who provides CASCA
CASCA is provided by Water-filled Glass LTD, 34 High Street, Aldridge, Walsall, England, WS9 8LZ. Contact brandon@waterfilledglass.com for questions about these terms.
What CASCA is for
CASCA is an early-stage whole-life carbon comparison tool for building and facade option studies. It supports comparison of embodied carbon, operational energy, comfort risk and whole-life carbon outputs using the assumptions and input data selected by the user.
Assessment limitations
CASCA outputs are intended to support early-stage option appraisal, design discussion, research and teaching. CASCA is not a formal compliance reporting tool, does not replace detailed project-specific life cycle assessment, does not replace detailed whole-building energy modelling, and does not replace mechanical design, commissioning, system sizing or professional judgement.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy, suitability and permissions associated with the information you enter into CASCA. You should review assumptions, source data, module boundaries, quantities, energy assumptions and comfort outputs before relying on any result in a design, research, teaching or reporting context.
Accounts and access
Access may be provided through trial, individual, team, research, teaching or organisation arrangements. You must keep login credentials secure and must not share access unless the relevant access arrangement allows it.
Subscriptions and billing
Individual subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually. Team, research, teaching or organisation access may be arranged separately. Billing, invoices, payment methods, cancellation and subscription status may be managed through the customer portal where available.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse CASCA, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, copy or resell the service, scrape or extract data at scale, or use CASCA in a way that infringes rights or breaches applicable law.
Project data and confidentiality
You should not upload or enter confidential, restricted or sensitive project information unless you have the right to do so and the access arrangement is suitable for that information. CASCA may process entered data to provide calculations, outputs, support and service administration.
Intellectual property
CASCA, the website, the application design, software, methodology presentation, branding and associated materials are owned by or licensed to Water-filled Glass LTD. You may use CASCA outputs for your own permitted design, research, teaching or review purposes, subject to these terms and any agreed access terms.
Availability and changes
CASCA may be updated, changed or interrupted from time to time. We may modify features, pricing, access routes, assumptions, datasets or outputs as the product develops.
Liability
CASCA outputs depend on selected assumptions, available data and user inputs. To the extent permitted by law, Water-filled Glass LTD is not liable for decisions made solely from CASCA outputs without appropriate review, validation and project-specific judgement.
Ending access
We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, payment fails, the service is misused, or continued access would create security, legal or operational risk. You may cancel eligible subscriptions through the available billing management route.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
